This is the Monogram kit with ModelMaster paint and SuperScale decals. Except the horizontal tail was painted with Floquil "Old Silver" to try a tip from Dave Pluth. By Amos Terrell

Cox,  19thFS, 318th FG, from le Shima, 1945 Kit  is the Academy 1/48 P-47N with cockpit stuff from three different resin/brass sets, Super Scale decals. NMF is Floquil "Old Silver"  with Alclad II "Dark Aluminum" on the ailerons. Model Master FS15102 "True Blue" cowl ring and tail markings. Very good kit, excellent fit and detail.  Kit cockpit is good, but doesn't quite match any of the photos found in the Squadron "Walk Around" or "Detail and Scale" references. Model by Amos Terrell
