P-36A #86 from the 48th Pursuit Squadron, 15th Pursuit Group.  This aircraft was piloted on December 7th, 1941 by Lt. Phillip Rasmussen.  Lt. Rasmussen took off with 3 other pilots in P-36's.  Lt Rasmussen was credited with one Japanese aircraft over Kaneohe Naval Air Station, and actively engaged the Japanese fighter force.  Pearl Harbor is the only battle in WWII that the United States forces flew the P-36.  Model is the Hobby Craft 1/48 P-36A.
